The gite is easily
reached by a
variety of transport:
Ryan Air fly from Stansted to Poitiers which takes one and a half hours, and leaves you a drive of approximately 45 mins to the gite. FlyBe go from Southampton to La Rochelle which is just over an hour's drive away. Brittany Ferries and P&O cover a variety of routes from Portsmouth and Southampton, the fastest is to St. Malo which leaves only a 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive through some beautiful countryside. If you choose Brittany Ferries we can get you a discount on your travel booking. The TGV comes from Paris to St. Maixent L’Ecole and if you can get a direct train takes approx 2 1/2 hours, we are then 15 mins away. |
